Mathieu is a field administrator in Rutshuru, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This is his story.
Mathieu’s role as a field administrator is to manage human resources (recruitment, payroll and administrative issues) and ensure HR procedures are followed. He also monitors the mission’s budget and finances, as well as supervises the accounting team. “A good administrator is one who spends time at the hospital; the human element of the job is very important.”
