This is Jocelyne’s story: she is a general practitioner working in Niger, where many children suffer from malnutrition.
Going on a humanitarian mission was a lifelong dream for Jocelyne, as well as a way of getting back to the core of medicine as defined in the Hippocratic oath: to care for all, and especially for those most in need. Jocelyn believes that using clinical skills, which are the foundations of the medical profession, is very important. A geriatrics specialist in France, she was caring for older people with malnutrition. She now cares for malnourished children in Niger.
