Aurélien is a pharmacist who has been on several missions with MSF. This is his story.
As soon as he found out that MSF was looking for pharmacists to take part in their missions it seemed only natural to go and help provide high-quality care. His work involves managing the pharmacy, managing stock and supplies, advising doctors and nurses, as well as providing training to the team. When he became a Pharmacy Coordinator, Aurélien had to put together a pharmacy for an emergency mission. Pharmacies represent the second largest portion of MSF’s overall budget.
