Téléchargez le pdf

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization created in 1971 that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural disasters.

This position is open as a temporary replacement.

 Context

OCP's commitment to environmental transition has grown in recent years. OCP has therefore adopted an Environmental Roadmap in 2023, which is integrated into its 2026-2031 strategic guidelines.

After two years, most of the key actions in this Roadmap are taking shape, particularly in the areas of logistics (energy efficiency, waste management) and supply (reduction of air freight, sustainable purchasing criteria). However, some projects will require further effort, primarily the rationalization of air travel

Since mid-2024, OCP has set up a multidisciplinary ‘Health and Environment’ working group, whose main focus is on flooding, heat waves, and toxic pollution.

Mission

Develop the integration of environmental issues within OCP at all levels: strategic, tactical, operational, and cultural.

Main responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Deputy GD, you will support, encourage, and promote the actions of each department in the context of OCP's environmental transition (‘Mitigation’) and contribute to defining strategic visions and associated work plans.

As OCP's ‘Climate and Environment Focal Point’, you will also act as a liaison between international MSF platforms and the appropriate OCP contacts on the subject of ‘Mitigation’, as well as on ‘Adaptation’ of operations and Climate ‘Advocacy’.

Finally, you will monitor developments beyond the scope of MSF.
